Example Wikis
Tanque Verde School District Tech Plan
We used this wiki to set up our Tech Plan and adapt it for eRate applications. The plan was broken up over several pages and pairs of team members were in charge of writing and presenting on their section. Everyone subscribed to the notifications and could check into any changes before the next meeting.
23 Things Wiki
There are a few variations of this professional development program. It is a great example of how a wiki can be used to guide teachers at their own pace through a learning and exploration experience.
Professional Developers Wiki for Icebreakers Teampedia
This is a collaborative space for leaders to learn about and contribute teambuilding activities and icebreakers
Professional Resources and Best Practices Pages for Librarians (by Meredith Farkas)
This is a great example of using a wiki (MediaWiki) to post upcoming PD opportunities, educator resources, inventories and more.
Use as a Community Information Page 18000 Campus Way
Oklahoma's 21st Century Educators Private Wiki for Grants Programs
You can't see this one. It's private, but it demonstrates how you can have a private presence on the web and use it for collaboration behind closed doors. Contact Wes Fryer if you would like to see it.
Pima County Regional Support Center Wiki
Our wiki about wikis with educator and student examples
